The Royal Canadian Legion will conduct Remembrance day Services in Rossland on Tuesday, November 11, 2008
Details are as follows:
NOTE: The Legion wishes to invite the general public to attend all Legion events to be held during the day and evening of 11 November 2008
Church Services will commence at 10:00 in the Legion on Washington Street.
After the service is concluded, Legion members will fall in behind the Color Party and march to the Cenetaph beside the Library on Columbia Avenue where a Remembrance cermony and Wreath-laying will take place.
Once the wreaths are laid, the parade will march back to the Legion to enjoy an afternoon of music and song lead by Mr. Otto Seufert.
During the afternoon, The Boom Town Garter Girls will preform for us as will the Trail Pipe Band.
Parents are invited to bring their children in for hot dogs and soft drinks.
