A great introductory course to avalanche awareness for skiers, snowboarders, snowshoers, and snowmobilers. Learn to recognize and avoid dangerous areas while travelling in the backcountry. The Avaware course on saturday goes well with the Discover Backcountry course on sunday. This course is at Kootenay Pass.
